Joseph E. Oliver, 83, died at his home in Hudson, New Hampshire surrounded by family on Sunday, July 11, 2021.

He was born on September 18, 1937 in Dorchester, Massachusetts, son of the late Leon R. and Grace (Noyes) Oliver. He was also a predeceased by a son, Thomas Leon Oliver, who died October 21, 2013. He was the husband of Mary (Tibbetts) Oliver, of Hudson. They were married on July 1, 1966 in Concord, NH.

Joseph was a graduate of Scituate, Massachusetts H.S. He graduated from Bates College with a BS Degree and graduated from Northeastern College with a MBA Degree. Prior to retirement, Joseph was employed in the Semiconductor Industry and was Program Manager for Raytheon Trident Missile Program.

Joseph was a member of the Nashua Exchange Club. He was a lifelong Episcopalian and was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. He enjoyed electronics as well as all types of gardening. He also enjoyed history and trivia.

Besides his loving wife of 55 years, survivors include his children, Abbie (Oliver) Law and her husband Scott, Amy (Oliver) Plante and her husband Joseph and Kevin Oliver and his wife Karen; grandchildren, Everett Law, Parker Law, Brian Plante and his wife Amanda, Shane Plante, Kendra (Oliver) Cropps and her husband Junior, Kevin L. Oliver and his wife Ashley, Kristen (Oliver) Mullis and her husband David, Kurtis Oliver as well as Katelyn (Oliver) Garner and her husband Brian; Sisters, Nancy Marino and her husband Lewis and Patricia Curley and her husband Peter; 9 great grandchildren; many loved and cherished nieces and nephews and a very special friend and family: Matthew and Heather Saunders, Devan, Noah and Katie Saunders.

SERVICES: There are no visiting hours. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday July 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 214 Main St., Nashua, NH 03060. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may meet directly at the church. A private burial will be held at the family’s convenience. Donations may be made in Joseph’s loving memory to the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter, PO Box 3116, Nashua, NH 03061.
