Roger J. Roy

Roger J. Roy passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, June 29th, with his family by his side.

Roger was born in Nashua, NH on July 29th, 1954 to Cecile L. (Arel) and Joseph A. Roy.

Roger was retired after a long career as a software engineer and service technician in the security industry, most recently with Tyco International. He enjoyed cooking and was an excellent chef. Roger also enjoyed all things Boston, whether it be sports teams, a Boston movie or tv show. Roger loved dogs and looked forward to his daily visit with Piper.

Roger was predeceased by his wife Mary Ann (Urban), his high school sweetheart, who together, built a life in Merrimack. They were married for 37 years at the time of her unexpected death.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Franklin “Pete” Roy of Hudson, NH, Richard “Dick” Roy of Hudson, NH and Paul Roy of Grafton, NH.

Roger is survived by his son Jeffrey R. Roy and his long time girlfriend Taylor L. DeMinico, of Manchester NH; son Ryan N. Roy, his wife Meagan (Fallon) and their dog Piper of Merrimack NH; sister Rita Martinez and her husband Warren, of Hudson NH; long time, loyal friend Keith Wells of Merrimack NH.

A Celebration of Life will be held outside at Ryan’s home, on Saturday, July 17th from 1:00PM to 5:00PM
