Patricia Ann Poff

Patricia Ann Poff, 84, died peacefully Wednesday evening, May 5, 2021, at the Community Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. She is the beloved wife of Norman F. Poff with whom she shared 65 years of marriage.

Patricia was born in Charlestown, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Henry “Jack” Llyod and Verna Mae (Jones) Lloyd.

She proudly served her country in the United States Navy until she was honorably discharged.

For many years, she was employed by Sanders as an assembly technician until her retirement.

In her free time, Patricia loved to cook especially for her family and friends. She always hosted gathers whenever she could, she was the perfect host. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed reading. For 18 years, she and Norman would travel south to Florida to be snowbirds, which she loved very much. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Norman, she is survived by her three children, Michael Poff and his wife Pamela of Pelham, Debra Lambert of Hampton, NH, and Steve Poff and his wife Barbara of Nashua; her four grandchildren, Trisha Guest and her husband Michael of Amherst, Shawn Kelloway of New York, Olivia Poff of Pelham, and Matthew Poff of Pelham. She is also survived by her three great-grandchildren, Kayla Enright of Virginia, Hunter Guest of Amherst and Michael Guest of Merrimack; a well as her sister Phyllis Coleman and her husband Bruce of Okemos, Michigan; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Patricia was predeceased by her two sisters, Billie Elizabeth Lucas and Genevieve Thieme and her brother Howard “Joe” Lloyd.

Patricia’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Community Hospice House in Merrimack for their care, comfort, and compassion during Patricia’s stay.

At the request of Patricia’s family, all services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricia’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Community Hospice House, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054.
