Andre E. Laflamme

Andre E. Laflamme, 83, a resident of Hudson, NH, and former longtime resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua on March 16, 2021. He was the beloved husband of the late Carole J. (Devlin) Laflamme with whom he enjoyed 57 years of marriage prior to her death in 2014.

He was born in Lowell on November 29, 1937 a son of the late Edmond and Lydia (Dufresne) Laflamme.

Andre was raised and educated in Lowell and graduated from Keith Academy with the class of 1956 before proudly serving in the United States Naval Reserves. Although they changed names several times, he was employed for 47 years as a Maintenance Manager for the same company, retiring in 2003. Andre enjoyed gardening and fishing out on the lake.

Andre is survived by his six children; Michael Laflamme and his wife Lisa Walker of Freeport, ME, David Laflamme of Rockingham, NC, John Laflamme and his wife Sandra of Dracut, Thomas Laflamme and Grace Magina of Hudson, NH, Andre Laflamme, Jr. and his wife, Donna of Hudson, NH, and Andrea M. Wallis and her husband, Andrew of Pelham, NH. He also leaves thirteen grandchildren; Derrick, Max, Gus, Joshua, Edward, Jason, Tara, Lily and Kady Laflamme, Stacey Carey, Brittney Six, Brianna, Nicholas Beland, eight great-grandchildren his siblings; Elaine St. Germaine, Marion Blanchette, Robert Laflamme and the late Dorothy Wirzburger. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 19th from 4-7 pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. To ensure the safety of all, COVID- 19 social distancing measures will be in place and face coverings are kindly required. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11am at St. Rita Parish, 158 Mammoth Rd., Lowell. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Rd., Chelmsford.
