Wendell B. ‘Dell’ Harmon

Mar 16, 2021

Wendell B. “Dell” Harmon, 67, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully, with his loving wife at his side on March 8, 2021. Dell was born in Utica, NY, on December 18, 1953, to John T. and Mary B. (Nutting) Harmon.

A loving husband of 43 years, father of three, and grandfather of four, he was a friend of many, an educator, a coach, a mentor, and a protector. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing pool, cooking, and the ocean. He made those around him better and helped others to succeed as a matter of course.

Physically powerful, he chose, instead, strength of mind and compassion that allowed him to excel in his work and home life. He was respected at work and by his family and friends.

He endured hardships, setbacks, and loss with a never-give-up attitude all the while holding up those around him.

We lost a great man who will be remembered with smiles, laughter, and gratitude once the tears subside.

He was predeceased by his son Marcus Wendell Harmon and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Doris (Mailloux) Harmon; son, John Harmon and wife Karina, of Ormond Beach, FL; daughter Crystle Peters and husband Jack of Nashua, NH; grandchildren, John Harmon, Mila Harmon, Jack Peters, and Chris Peters; and sister Anne Benson and husband Ralph, of Mancos, CO.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. To share an online message of condolence, please visit www.dumontsullivan.com THE DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME IN HUDSON IS IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
