David R. Larkin

David R. Larkin, age 76, of Brookline, NH, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Sandra “Sandi” C. M. (Graves) Larkin, with whom he shared 26 years together and 21 years of marriage. Born in Salem MA and raised in Swampscott, he was the son of Barbara (Stewart) (Larkin) Richards and the late David Larkin, Sr. He had lived in Acton for many years before moving to New Hampshire 40 years ago.

David proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict, and also served in Germany. He had worked in the Spares department for Digital Equipment Corporation for 33 years until his retirement. He enjoyed bird watching, reading, and crossword puzzles. He loved to sing and also played the bugle and trumpet. He also loved animals and will definitely be remembered for his story telling.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his son, Brian Larkin; three step-children; Randy Moisan, Lisa Moody and her husband Charles, and Lynda Bowman-Griffith and her husband Stephen; his sister, Kathleen Larkin; his brother, Steven Larkin; as well as seven step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Larkin and his step-father, George Richards.

Due to the current gathering restrictions, his services will be private.
