Robert Joseph Poulin

Robert Joseph Poulin, 91, a longtime resident of Merrimack, NH, and Bayfield CO, died Wednesday afternoon, December 23, 2020 at Cottonwood Inn Rehabilitation and Extended Care Center, Durango, CO. Born in Nashua on October 26, 1929, he was a son of the late Alfred and Mae T. (Milliken) Poulin. Educated in local schools, “Bob” was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1947. He began his career at the former International Paper Box Machine Company and worked for many years in the paper box packaging industry. Bob retired from Teradyne corporation in 1995 and moved to Bayfield CO to enjoy his later years.

Bob was a life member of the National Skeet Shooting Association. He shot competitive skeet from 1950 to 1985 winning numerous NH state skeet shooting titles. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent many hours exploring the wilderness of Colorado. He enjoyed teaching clay target shooting through the 4H program to the youth of southwest Colorado.

Preceded in death by his older brother Alfred. Members of his family include his sister in-law Marcia Poulin. Nephew Robert A. Poulin and his wife Zina and their children Madison and Garrett; Niece, Bethany M. Poulin; Stepson Gerald and Robert Lodge.

A Celebration of life will be announced later. Donations may be made in his memory to a Charity of One’s Choice.
