He was born April 13, 1947 in Providence, RI to parents Ivy (Allen) and Omer Autote. David was the husband of Elaine (Leitao) Autote. They were married in Warwick, R.I. on November 23,1968. David was also known as “Mr. Fix-it”. His workshop was his pride and joy and he loved figuring out how to fix things and working wood into furniture. Trips to the beach were another one of his “loves”, followed by a treat from Lago’s Ice Cream in Portsmouth, NH. David was a devoted Christian man and his devotion to God was evident in his very nature. He has passed on his love of the Lord and his many passions to his kids and grandkids. A devoted family man, David always made time to be with his family.
