Stephen C. Kiley

Jul 11, 2020

HUDSON – Stephen C. Kiley, 73, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019, at his home.

Stephen was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Aug. 9, 1946, and grew up and was educated in Belmont, Massachusetts. Immediately following high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps. He served during the Vietnam War.

Early in his career, Stephen worked for Airborne Freight in Boston. He eventually went on to own his own air freight company, IAC, which also was located in Boston.

When Stephen was not spending time enjoying his children and grandchildren, he often was found glued to the television watching his favorite sporting events. He rarely missed a Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics or Bruins game on TV. He could spend hours on the phone with his family and friends kibitzing about the latest game or discussing current world events and politics. But his primary love was his family – all of whom will miss him dearly.

Stephen is survived by his four children, Jonathan G. Kiley of Boston; Jeremy Kiley of Marblehead; Stephanie Kiley and her husband, Douglas, of Coconut Creek, Florida; Tiffany Kiley also of Florida; his grandchildren several nieces, a nephew, as well as several great nieces and a great nephew. He also is survived by his sister, Susan Murphy of Nashua; a brother, Richard Kim Kiley and his wide of Brussels; and sister Cheryl A. Gariepy and her husband, Wayne, of Lunenburg, Massachusetts. He also leaves behind his very dear and close friend Sonja Lee of Hudson (formerly of Belmont, Massachusetts.
