Carol Ann Descoteaux

NASHUA – Carol Ann Descoteaux, 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Richard P. Descoteaux for 58 years.

Carol was born in Schenectady, NY on September 9, 1943 a daughter of the late Ugo C. and Josephine L. (Carrabs) Messa.

Carol graduated from Pentucket Regional High School in 1961 and also attended Salem State College. She worked for Montgomery Ward in Nashua, NH and later retired from CEO Nashua Inc., in 2009.

In Carol’s free time she enjoyed reading, gardening and crafting. She was also a very talented cook and baker and was known for making delicious Italian meals. Carol was a giver, and over the years, she became a contributor to NH Public Broadcasting. Carol treasured family time above all; she loved creating memories with her family and she cherished every moment she was able to spend with them. She had a gentle soul and will be missed by all.

Carol is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard P. Descoteaux; her children, Sandra C. LaCroix and her husband, Joseph M. of Nashua, NH and Richard A. Descoteaux of Nashua, NH; her grandson, Aaron P. LaCroix and his significant other, Samantha Allen of Nashua, NH; Her great-granddaughters, Adrianna LaCroix and Gabriella Allen; her brother, Dr. Anthony U. Messa of Manchester NH; her nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-laws along with a host of long-time friends.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Nathan J. LaCroix and great-granddaughter, Aubriee Eva LaCroix.

A WALK THROUGH visitation will be held on TUESDAY, June 30th from 5-8:00 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES; 21 Kinsley St., Nashua, NH 03060, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on WEDNESDAY, July 1st at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W.
