Raymond G. Maynard

Raymond G. Maynard, 80, died Wednesday June 17, 2020 at South Coast Medical Center, Santa Ana CA as a result of COVID-19. Ray was born in Nashua N.H. on May 11, 1940 to the late Gerard and Rose (Francoeur) Maynard. Ray graduated from Nashua High School in 1957 and immediately entered the military. Ray had the heart and soul for music. He became a Jazz drummer and played many jobs in California and Nevada with his own trio, he also sat in with some of the best jazz musicians in California. He also owned and operated Eagle Delivery Systems in Los Angeles from 1980 to 2001. Ray leaves a daughter Toni Hock and her husband Dan from Brambleton VA, one grandson Jacob Hock of Washington DC.

Ray also leaves a sister Gloria Lavoie and her husband John of Merrimack. Two nieces Susan Forrence and Lisa Brown of Hudson along with several cousins. Omega Society in Orange CA is in charge of arrangements.
