Jeanne E. Turmel

Jeanne E. Turmel, 77, died on Saturday, March 21, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Hudson. She was born on August 9, 1942 in Nashua, daughter of the late Sylvio and Leda (Labelle) Cote.

She was the beloved wife of Richard O. Turmel. They shared more than 60 years of wonderful marriage together. Jeanne was educated in the Nashua school system. Prior to her retirement she had worked as a stitcher of Shoes and neckties.

In her free time she enjoyed watching ION TV, playing cards, Elvis, following the Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, and NASCAR, spending time in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, as well as doing crossword puzzles and especially watching the many birds that visited her feeders, and above all spending time with her family and friends.

Along with her parents, Sylvio and Leda, she was predeceased by three sisters, Muriel Mazeika, Sylvia Sienkewicz and Jaqueline McAlister; two brothers, Edward and Paul Cote; and a granddaughter, Randi Bowden.

She is survived by her husband, Richard, as well as three daughters and two sons-in-law, Kimberly Hamel and husband James, Debra Noble, and Paula Bowden and husband Dale; five grandchildren, Amanda Noble, Andrea Pedersen, Ciara Bowden, Donald Bowden, and James Hamel; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: There will be no services at this time. The DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua has been placed in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeanne’s name can be made to Amedisys Hospice Care.
