Rachel L. Stockley

Rachel Lena Stockley, 91, of Kennebunk, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 14, 2020 at Huntington Commons. She was born on February 28, 1929 in Nashua, NH, to the late Joseph and Flora (Beauclaire) Theroux.

Rachel was predeceased by her loving husband, Walter J. Stockley in 2018. They shared 68 years of marriage. In her early years, Rachel owned and operated Ray’s Beauty Salon in Nashua and then held various positions at Sprague Electric, Doehla Greeting Cards and Sanders Associates.

After she retired, she spent her winters in Palm Bay, Florida and her summers in New Hampshire on Suncook Lake. Rachel and Walter moved to Maine in 2011 to be with their daughter. Rachel’s favorite pastimes were reading, gardening, fishing, walking on the beach and spending summers at the lake with her grandchildren.

Rachel is survived by her son Gary Stockley and his wife Susan of Nashua, NH; daughter Karen Poulin and her husband Michael of Biddeford, ME; grandchildren Kelly Seizert and her husband Paul of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Brittany Pitonzo and her husband Marc of Manassas Park, VA, Ryan Poulin of Conifer, CO, and Natalie Bagley and her husband Ryan of Steep Falls, ME. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
