Catherine Veronica Partello

NASHUA- Catherine ‘Cathy’ Veronica Partello, 68, died unexpectedly on Thursday morning, February 20, 2020, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She is the beloved wife of Stephen Henry Partello with whom she shared 47 years of marriage.

Cathy was born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 19, 1951, and was the daughter of the late Robert James and Catherine (Mullahy) Downey.

She attended Hesser College and graduated with her associate degree in business. Previously, she graduated from North Quincy, MA High School.

For many years, she was employed by First Student as a school bus driver.

In her free time, Cathy loved to travel to many different destinations. She enjoyed floral and vegetable gardening and was an avid animal lover. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her loving family.

In addition to her husband, Stephen, she is survived by her two children, Michael Stephen Partello and his wife Misty Anne of Sanbornton, NH and Robin Ann Partello of Derry, NH; her three grandchildren, Chandler, Collin, Braden; her three siblings, James T. Downey and his wife Patricia of Quincy, MA, Carol Ann Sloan of Stoughton, MA, and Robert J. Downey of Revere, MA as well as several nieces and nephews.

Cathy was predeceased by her two brothers, Paul Downey and Ronald Downey.

Relatives and friends are invited to Cathy’s visitation on WEDNESDAY, February 26th from 4 until 7 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held on THURSDAY, February 27th at 11 AM in the Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad Street, Nashua, NH. Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Nashua.
