Alice Rancourt

Alice Rancourt, 79 yrs. old of Pelham passed away on Thursday Feb 6th 2020 at Southern NH medical center from congestive heart failure. Alice was born September 4, 1940 in Lowell MA. She was the daughter of Eva and Philippe Thibeault. She grew up in Lowell MA. She was a girl officer and a graduate of Lowell High School. Alice resided in Nashua for over 30 yrs. with her husband and four children. While raising her family she worked as a buyer/planner at various companies. Alice loved square dancing, playing cards and talking on the phone. She and her husband enjoyed their early retirement years in Pelham NH. They spent over 2 decades celebrating life with family and friends at their place in Wells ME. Prior to her passing she was a resident at Fairview Nursing home. Alice loved to take her scooter around the grounds visiting residents and staff. She was loved by all and will be missed. She is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) Rancourt, her daughter Michelle Rancourt and life partner Judy Giroux of Nashua NH, her son Steven Rancourt and wife Joanna (Martinage) of Pelham NH, her son David Rancourt and wife Jill (La Rose) of Salem Oregon, and her son Marc Rancourt and wife Trish (Costa) of Nashua NH. She has 6 grandchildren Jay Martinage, Chelsie Rancourt, Kyle Rancourt, Paige Rancourt, Chandler Rancourt, and Austin Rancourt. She is survived by one sibling Ed Knapper and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Pre- deceased by her sister Claire LaCroix and her brother Victor Thibeault.There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held on Saturday February 15th at 11am at The Cremation Society of New Hampshire 243 Hanover St. Manchester NH. In lieu of flowers donation may be made directly to the “Make a Wish Foundation” in Alice’s memory. Additional information may be found on Phaneuf funeral home and crematorium website.
