Rita Jean Depontbriand

Rita Jean Depontbriand, 93, of Nashua passed away on Sunday January 19, 2020. Born on October 23, 1926 in Nashua NH, she was the daughter of Alphonse and Eva (Lavoie) Beaulieu.

Rita was a lifelong resident of Nashua and parishioner of Parish of the Resurrection. She was a lover of knitting and gardening, and was a fantastic cook and exceptional baker.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years Eugene Depontbriand, her daughter Judith Ann Depontbriand, and brothers Leo Beaulieu and Armond Beaulieu.

She is survived by her brother Albert Beaulieu of Loveland CO; son-in-law Jack Marin of Cambridge MA, cousins Denise Chamberland and her husband George of Watertown MA, and Annette Bouchard of Nashua NH; nephews and nieces Joe and Kathie Depontbriand of Litchfield NH, Gene and Diane Depontbriand of Nashua NH, Gloria and Dollard Gautreau of Dieppe, NB, CA, Norbert and Catherine Beaulieu of Lynnfield MA, Leonard and Carole Beaulieu of Twin Mountain NH, Lorraine and Jim Curtis of Stratham NH, Monica and Lou Maricheau of Erie CO, Drew and Karla Beaulieu of Windsor, Co, David and Cheryl Beaulieu of Milford NH, Darcy and Bill Atkinson of Newport News, Dianne and Emmet Clifford of Dunstable MA, and Bret Miller of Dunstable MA. Her good friends Fran O’Sullivan of Hollis NH, Mark Wheatley of Nashua NH, the staff at Seniors Helping Seniors, the parishioners of Church of the Resurrection, and many friends and family.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday January 23, 2020 from 3-7pm at the Zis-Sweeney & St. Laurent Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St. Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Friday January 24, 2020 at Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad St, Nashua NH, with a burial immediately following at St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson NH.
