Monique I. Marchand

Monique I. (Plante) Marchand, 60, of Hudson, NH passed away suddenly surrounded by her family on January 10, 2020, at Southern NH Medical Center.

She was a daughter of the late Ernest and Jacqueline (Duval) Plante.

Monique married the love of her life and best friend, Yvon Marchand, with whom she would have celebrated 33 years of marriage on January 31.

Monique was a US Navy veteran serving from 1977 to 1981. Together, Monique and Yvon loved to go camping, snowmobiling, riding ATV’s and their newest toy, a UTV! Monique loved doing crafts, sitting by a bonfire where she would grab a blanket and sleep near them on many occasions. She loved taking care of and entertaining family. She was everyone’s angel!

Besides her husband, Monique is survived by one daughter; Elise Marchand of Hudson, a granddaughter; Guinnevere, her accessory daughter; Amanda McGuire of Nashua, one sister; Susan Vincent and her husband Dennis of Nashua, one brother; Marc Plante and his wife Renee of Nashua, a sister-in-law; Francine Davie and her husband Bob of Hillsboro as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Monique was predeceased by a brother-in-law; Pierre Marchand.

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 4 to 8 PM in the ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 10 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 West Hollis St., Nashua. Burial with military honors will take place on Saturday January 18, 2020 at 9 AM in St. Louis Cemetery.
