Kenneth D. McDaniel

Kenneth D. McDaniel of Nashua, New Hampshire passed away peacefully on December 6, 2019 with his family by his side.

Born in Ashland, Kentucky on February 4th, 1937 to Kenneth and Charlotte McDaniel, Ken was raised in Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Ken worked in process control and technology, including executive management stints at Honeywell and Digital Equipment Corporation. Ken remained active well into retirement, working as a real estate agent, driver for an auto dealer, and as a member of Business Network International. Ken was an avid sailor; formidable squash and table tennis player; social golfer; and adventurous traveler.

Ken’s greatest love was for his family. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of 26 years, Elizabeth McDaniel; his daughter Barbara Tobin; his son Todd McDaniel; his sister Peg (Jim) Butts; his stepson Shaun (Ashleigh) Rader; two grandchildren, Henry and Carys; in-laws Aline (Terry) Kenney, Lillian (Phil) Wentworth, Paul (Donna) Vanasse, Claire Vanasse, and Claire McDaniel; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his brothers, Jon and Richard McDaniel.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, December 11th, from 3 to 6 pm at Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH 03054. The service will include visitation from 3 to 5 pm and ceremony beginning at 5 pm.
