Perry Spearman Jr.

Sep 12, 2019

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Perry Spearman, Jr. announces his passing. Perry was born to Rachel Barbour and Perry Spearman, Sr. on 02/22/1935 in Charleston, Mississippi. Perry peacefully went on to be with our Lord God on September 7th, 2019, surrounded by prayers and family. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years Jerri Spearman, his daughter Rhonda Kuchinski (grandchildren: Johnathan, Joslyn, Melanie) his 3 sons Gary (children: Michael Paul, Shaylene, Josslyn, Shardeia, Shane) Jeffery (children: Tammy, Tasha, Kelly), and Perry D. Spearman (children: Chloe, Aaron, Arianna), his sisters Yvonne Fox (children: Darvin, Clara, Booker, Cornell, Albert, Jr., Leana), and Florence Miller (children: William “Billy”, Andrea), and all of his beloved sister and brother in-laws, and nieces and nephews.

Perry proudly served his country in the U.S. Airforce as part of the 962nd Airborne Early Warning and Control Squadron from 1954-1958. He continued in his love for Aviation, becoming an Air Taffic controller in Boston for many years. In 1982, Perry ventured out as an entrepreneur, pursuing a passion for electrical work. He enrolled in N.E.C. to bring his skills up to code, becoming a Master Electrician and started what many businesses in New England know as Tri-Spry Electric. He was licensed in NH, Maine, and Massachusetts, and maintained a healthy work load in all three states for many years. Perry was well-respected and loved by his customers, peers, community, and family, continuing in business for over 30 years.

In his later years, Perry could always be found enjoying a cup of coffee and breakfast at a local diner surrounded by friends and family discussing scriptures, out on some open water fishing for bass, or just laying out in his back-yard listening to nature enjoying the outdoors, sharing one of his many proverbs with a loved one. He will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew him.

A funeral service in memory of Perry will be held on September 14th, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Gate City Church 43 Main St, Nashua, NH 03064, with Pastor Paul Berube officiating. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Perry to the Alzheimer’ Association at 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 (www.alz.org / (800) 272-3900).
