Kim Marie (Noel) Norstedt
Kim Marie (Noel) Norstedt, age 44, of Oak Ridge, TN, died on September 1, 2019, after a brief illness.
Kim was born and raised in Nashua, NH. She graduated from Nashua High School in 1991, where she was a cheerleader. While in high school she worked as a certified nurse’s assistant in a local nursing home and she also nannied for several families. Kim moved to Atlanta, GA in 1996. In 1997, she began working as a nanny for a very special family, staying with them for three years. After moving to Oak Ridge in 2000, Kim became a stay-at-home mom to her two children, Emily and Nicholas. While raising them, she went to Tennessee School of Beauty and graduated as a nail technician. After her third child, Noel, was born she stayed home to raise her. Kim recently began working in Publix pharmacy in Farragut, TN.
Kim was very active in school activities and sports with her children. She also enjoyed crafting, watching the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, walking at Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, and skydiving, recently completing her 17th jump. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking authentic Greek and Italian foods. Kim had accepted Christ and was baptized at Faith Promise Church in Knoxville, TN.
Kim was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, Richard W. Noel Sr.
Kim is survived by her children, who were her pride and joy, Emily and Nicholas Darnell and Noel Norstedt. In addition, she leaves her mother Linda Noel; her sister Laurie Roeger and husband Daniel; her brother Richard Noel and wife Paula Fraulini; her brother Matthew Noel; Aunts and Uncle Noreen and Ronald Bois and Gloria Ladas; her stepmother Judith Noel; niece and nephews Evan and Ryan Roeger, and Tessa and Alexander Noel. She is also survived by Robert Darnell, Mark Norstedt, Emily and Ashley Norstedt, special friend Joe Ammendolia, and her dog Finley.
