Sara Jo (Fatka) Parenti

Sara Jo (Fatka) Parenti, 48, of Litchfield, passed away on September 1, 2019 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center with her husband at her side, following a year long hard fought battle with cancer.

She was born March 26, 1971, in Covington, Kentucky, daughter of Kristan (Falcon) Hopkins and the late Loren Fatka.

Sara was raised in Iowa, moved to Florida for college, where she met her husband of 22 years, Richard Parenti. The couple moved to New Hampshire in 1996 and Litchfield in 1999.

Sara will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and dedicated hospice nurse. She took great pride in caring for her family and her patients.

Over the years, Sara had worked at many hospices in MA and NH, working most recently at Amedisys Hospice, when her cancer returned and became terminal in August 2018.

Sara is survived by her husband, 3 teenage sons Ricky, Joey, and Tommy, mother Kristan, stepfather Steve Hopkins, stepsister Jill Hopkins, stepbrother Jeff Hopkins, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday September 10th from 5-8pm in the Funeral Home Burial will take place at a later date.
