Jacqueline Longley

Jun 9, 2019

Jacqueline Longley, 86, of Litchfield NH, passed away on June 5th, 2019. Born on May 4th, 1933 to Henry and Mary Jean, and the youngest of 8 siblings, Jacqueline would remain a life-long resident of New Hampshire and was a pillar of strength within her family whom she loved so dearly.

Jacqueline will be remembered as a strong, resilient mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, a loyal friend and a devout believer in the Lord. As a single mother of three, she took immense pride in raising her children with strong morals and sound church values. Her children will never forget her unending support in all their passions, nor her drive to provide for them in what ever way that she could. In addition to her children, Jacqueline loved her brothers immensely, and would later love her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the center of her life during her later years.

With a love for friends and family, Jacqueline was always generous with all; willing to share what she had, despite the circumstances. She loved spending time with both friends and family, especially during Christmas time, as she would think about the perfect Christmas gifts all throughout the year. She also loved being outdoors, going to the beach, gardening, visiting yardsales, and was always up for an adventure.

Jacqueline is survived by her daughter Karen and her husband Richard Cassidy; Son Kevin and his wife Joanne Longley; Son Keith and his wife Jen Longley; Granddaughter Colleen Cassidy; Granddaughter Amy and her husband Mike Silva; Grandson Andrew and his wife Kim Longley; Grandson Matthew Longley; Granddaughter Alexis Longley; and Great Grandchildren BellaDonna, Camden, Connor, Lydia & Parker Jacqueline.

A gathering in remembrance of Jacqueline’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 11th at 9:00 AM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover St. Manchester NH, with a service beginning at 10:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Cemetery in Litchfield NH at 11:45 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church Food Pantry or their Activa-Christian Pre-School Scholarship Fund, 961 Valley St. Manchester NH.
