Theresa Muriel (Deschenes) Bergeron

Theresa Muriel (Deschenes) Bergeron, 92 of Derry, passed away Friday morning, May 10, 2019 at Pleasant Valley Nursing Center after a period of declining health.

Mrs. Bergeron was born in Nashua, NH on September 12, 1926, a daughter of the later Jean Baptiste Deschenes & Marie (Plourde) Deschenes. She was raised on the farm in Hollis, but spent the greater part of her life as a resident of Nashua. Theresa enjoyed spending her down time dancing, reading, knitting, working in her garden and spending time at the beach. In her young adult life she worked at Nashua Corp, Horton & Hubbard, Teledyne, Hunt Home and finally retired from Kollsman, Inc. in 1992.

Members of her family include five children and their spouses, Pierre and Susan Bergeron of Salem, NH. Alexander and Maria Bergeron of Auburn, NH, Rosemarie Whiting of Manchester, NH, Toni and Paul Boucher of Merrimack, NH. Sixteen grandchildren, Carol Bergeron-Jobin and her husband Robert, Warren Bergeron and his wife Julie, Richard Bergeron and his wife Wendy, Crissy Mettinger and her husband Thomas, Robert Bergeron and his girlfriend Kim Hebert, Sabrina Zyla, Rebeka Earley and her husband David, Wallace Whiting JR and his wife Jessica, Sara Whiting, Alexandria Muh and her husband Brian, Paul Boucher Jr. and his girlfriend Jessica Desmarais, Victoria Hayes, Patti Ann Leccese and her husband William, Angelina Calimeri, Harley Bergeron, Lucas Bergeron, many great grandchildren and great great grandson, and One sister Pauline Fischer of Nashua, NH. In addition to her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her daughter Yvonne Calimeri who passed away June 27, 2014, her sister Lucille, her bothers Maurice, Roger, Armand and Donald Deschenes

Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at the Zis-Sweeney & St. Laurent Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St. Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, May 14th at 9:30AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 W. Hollis St. Nashua. Burial will follow at St. Frances Xavier Cemetery.
