Pamela E. Cassidy

MILFORD – Pamela E. Cassidy, 50, resident of Milford, NH, died on February 7, 2019 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua, NH following years of battling diabetes and its long-term effects.

She was born in Reading, MA on December 30, 1968, a daughter of Thomas and Patricia R. (Arnold) Cassidy. She was raised and educated in Reading, MA and Tewksbury, MA graduating from Shawsheen Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1986, Billerica, MA.

Pamela made her home in Milford for the past 10 years and formerly lived in Holbrook, MA. She had been employed as a data processor at Mass Financial Service Center in Boston, MA for 15 years.

She was a loving and devoted mother to her son, Tyler. She also loved her cat Nigel, most music and when she could, to attend rock & roll concerts. Pam was an extremely generous person to everyone she met and will be missed by her family and so many Milford area friends.

Family members include her son, Tyler S. Hanigan of Milford, NH; her foster parents, Dana and George Dahl, Sr. of Milford; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Brian and Carolyn Fratus of Ashburn, VA, Stephen and Terri Meier of Springfield, VT, Andrew and Jenny Meier or Rutland, MA, George Jr. and Krista Dahl of Charlestown, NH; many nieces and nephews; and her son’s father, Scott Hanigan of Holbrook, MA.

Visiting hours are on Friday, February 15th from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 16th at 3:00 pm in the Second Congregational Church, 25 Gregg Street, Wilton, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
