Carol (Chambers) Vogel
MILFORD, NH – Carol (Chambers) Vogel, 81, died peacefully in her sleep on December 25.
Mrs. Vogel was at home with her husband, David Larkin Vogel, Sr., to whom she had been married nearly 53 years.
A native of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Vogel was a very beloved and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She took great joy in her many friendships, adored gardening, and was enormously kind and generous to friends and strangers alike.
Before her marriage, Mrs. Vogel worked for Standard Oil in Dayton as a secretary before setting her sites on Los Angeles. She moved to California and worked for Continental Airlines in an administrative role for a few years. It was in L.A., she met her future husband, Mr. Vogel.
After their marriage in 1966, Mrs. Vogel and her husband made their home in East Hartford, Connecticut. In 1977, they moved to Nashua, and in 1997 they relocated to Milford, a town they both loved very much.
In addition to her loving husband, Mrs. Vogel is survived by her daughter, Laura Vogel of Brooklyn NY, her son, David Larkin Vogel, Jr., her daughter-in-law, Tara Levesque-Vogel, and her grandsons Luke Vogel and Logan Vogel, of Nashua, NH; Martha Vogel, of Milford; her nephew, Brendan Parker, his wife Carolee Parker, and their children, Kate and Daniel, of Wethersfield, Conn.
She was predeceased by her father, Glen Chambers, and mother, Bernice Chambers, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and her sister, Jean Parker, of West Hartford, Connecticut.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua in Carol’s honor.
SERVICES: All are welcome to attend a funeral service on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH.
