Abbey’s sharp intellect and ambition took her far, through many adventures across the US. Abbey was pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Creative Producing at Chapman University in Orange, CA. She had been a member and the Chair of Social Events of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity. She was passionate about her time as the in-studio on-air Hip-Hop Radio Intern with The Cruz Show at Power 106 FM in L.A. She was an Editor and Writer for Her Campus Media. Abbey grew up spending her summers on Frye Island in Maine. Over the years, she worked at the Frye’s Leap Café, the Recreation Department and most recently, at the Golf Club. She loved animals, especially her little rescue puppy, French Fry, big goofy lab, Theodore, and Sabrina, our cat who cuddled and soothed her. Abbey had an infectious laugh, a quick wit, and a passion for fashion and makeup. She loved to be glamorous and goofy. She had a love of takeout and Starbucks. She could drive, navigate and find parking spaces like a Pro.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her grandmothers, Dorothy Prior, Helen Golemo and Erleen Hirsch as well her large family of aunts, uncles and cousins, and many friends.
