Betty T. Snow

Betty T. Snow, 95, of Merrimack, NH, died Monday, November 5, 2018, at the Arbors of Bedford after a period of declining health.

She was born in Atlanta, GA, on October 27, 1923, a daughter of the late William R. and Dixie (Thigpen) Thrash.

Betty was the widow of Warren B. Snow, who died in 2006. She was also predeceased by a sister, Ann Thrash.

Betty was thoroughly kind, possessed a wonderful personality and was well-liked by all she encountered. She was very interested in politics; was a master bridge player; an avid book reader; loved to travel; and excelled at cooking. Betty was very devoted to her husband Warren and derived her greatest pleasure from being with her family. Before retirement, she was employed at Sanders Associates of Nashua and was also a secretary for her son Brian from 1992-2004, and for US Sen. Warren Rudman from 1979-1992.

Members of her surviving family include two sons, R. Brian Snow and his wife Patricia M. Snow, and Perry B. Snow and his wife Cathy J. Snow, all of Merrimack; five grandchildren, R. Kyle Snow and his fiancé Shelagh Sosnowski; Alyssa Callahan and her husband Brendan Callahan; Ashley Snow; Kristen Salesky and her husband Brian Salesky; Kelci Adams; two great-grandsons, Anthony Ray and Alexander Ghalashahi; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, November 8, 2018, at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy., Merrimack, NH, from 6-8 PM. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018, at the St. James United Methodist Church, 646 Daniel Webster Hwy., Merrimack at 10 AM. Burial will follow at the Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack. The family wishes to extend our deep gratitude to the staff and administration of the Arbors of Bedford for the wonderful care of Betty during the last year and a half of her life.
