Edward R. Benoit

Eliot, ME – Edward R. Benoit, 90, born April 27, 1928 in Concord, N.H. son of the late Edward and Alphonsine (Daniels) Benoit,  passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.

Edward went to Concord High School and enlisted in the Army Air Corp/Airforce right after graduation.

He was a veteran of the Korean war. He worked for Sanders Associates for 20 years. 

He is survived by his daughter Nancy Benoit and Mark Johnson, his son Douglas Benoit and his wife Sandra, and son-in-law Jon Willis; 5 grandchildren Jennifer Landry, Lisa Tumblin her husband Frank, Sara Benoit, Jane Willis, and Timothy Benoit-Ledoux and his husband Damien; 5 great grandchildren Hannah, Isaac, Jadea, Helen, and Aurelian; 1 great-great granddaughter Evelyn; his beloved cat Nikki; and all the many people in his life that thought of him as their Dad.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou of 52 years, sisters Florence, Margret, Evelyn, and Dolly.
