Melissa M. Simpson

Melissa Mary Simpson, 37 along with her Baby Boy Simpson-Fowkes, of New Rochelle, NY, formerly of Hollis, NH, passed away due to complications during pregnancy. They went home to be with Our Lord Sunday, July 22, 2018. Melissa was born February 17, 1981 in Leominster, MA and graduated Hollis-Brookline High School in 1999. Missy was the district manager of Mighty Quinn’s BBQ where she oversaw six restaurants in the New York Metropolitan Area. Missy & Brian were overjoyed that she was expecting her first child. She loved people, animals, and the simple things in life. She gave everything she had to care for everyone she came into contact with. Her uplifting spirit helped those who were broken and encouraged people to be the best they could be. Her life goal was to make sure this world was a better place and did so for God’s glory. Anyone that had the honor of knowing Missy knew how beautiful her heart was.

Missy is predeceased by her mother Susan McIntire Lis.

Melissa is survived by her companion and the love of her life, Brian Fowkes, of New Rochelle, NY and his son Brody Fowkes; Father; Don Simpson, sister; Kelly Lis, brother; Joshua Simpson, as well as numerous extended family and close friends who loved her dearly.

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held Friday evening from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at The Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 10:00 am at the First Congregational Church of Merrimack, 7 Baboosic Lake Rd, Merrimack, NH 03054. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may meet at the church. Burial will follow at East Cemetery, Hollis, NH. Luncheon to follow.
