Henry P. Mercier

Henry P. “Putsy” Mercier, 78 of Spring Hill, FL died at his home on May 16, 2018.

Hank was born in Nashua, NH on June 11, 1939 to the late Arthur and Irene (Kerouac) Mercier. He was predeceased by his brothers Robert, Normand, Roger and Paul Mercier and his sisters Theresa Sevigny and Rita Vigneault. He was a 1957 graduate of Nashua High School and served in the US Navy.

Hank had many careers, hobbies and interests but his true loves were playing music and his dog Chica. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and served as a Eucharistic Minister at his church in Florida.

He leaves behind two sons. Kevin and his wife Angie of Florida, Mark and his wife Deanna of Virginia Beach and 5 grandchildren Sean, Kevin, Kaitlynn, Taylor and Carter. He also leaves behind a brother Ernest Mercier of Nashua, NH and two sisters, Pauline Morello, Janet and her husband Gerald Dube and a brother in law Larry Sevigny all of Spring Hill, FL and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
