Marlyn (Post) Sullivan-Bernier

Marlyn (Post) Sullivan-Bernier, 79, of Fremont NH, passed away on Monday, May 28th at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was born in Fort Fairfield ME and was raised and educated in Presque Isle ME until 1955 when she moved to Hudson NH and graduated Alvirne High School class of 1958. Marlyn later on married Leroy “Sully” Sullivan on May 29, 1959 and had 4 children, they were happily married for 33 years until his passing in 1991. Marlyn later lived in Merrimack and attended Our Lady of Mercy Church and later moved to Fremont NH in 2003 where she attended St Joseph’s Church in Epping NH and married Raymond Bernier until his passing in 2006. She also served as a ballot clerk in Fremont for several years. Marlyn also had a love for all dancing, especially country line dancing with her friends.

Marlyn is survived by her children Lisa Sullivan and Russ Hughes of Merrimack, NH, Michael Sullivan and his wife Lisa Hooksett, NH, Cheryl Gibson and her husband Rick of Manchester, NH, Joseph Sullivan and his wife Robin of Auburn, NH, sisters Grace Beaulieu and her husband Jim of Bow, NH, Judy Kleiman of Presque Isle, ME, 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday June 1st from 10 AM-2 PM at the Rivet Funeral Home 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday June 2nd at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Merrimack with burial to follow at Last Rest Cemetery also in Merrimack.
