Gabrielle B. Brodeur

Gabrielle B. Brodeur, nickname Gabie, a life-long resident of Nashua, NH, died peacefully at home with her daughter and granddaughter by her side on May 20th 2018, at the age of 88.

Gabie is survived by her daughter, Atona King and granddaughter, Kyelin King; sisters Henriette Sinclaire, and Jeanne Girard. She is predeceased by her parents, Isabelle and Arthur Brodeur, brotherJerome Brodeur, and sisters Rose Brunelle, Christine Lafleur, and Christine Brunelle.

Gabie was born on June 2nd, 1929, in her lifelong home in Nashua, NH. Gabie received her formal education through St. Louis High School, where she excelled at academics and graduated as Salutatorian.

Gabie worked in the insurance business until early retirement, as well as the office manager of the Oblate Retreat House in Hudson, NH until its closing. Gabie officially retired in 2016 at the age of 86, as the manager of the Gray Nuns Thrift shop.

Gabie was an amazing strong woman who opened her heart and home to three small girls within the Foster Care system, adopting them, and devoting her life to caring for her children and grandchildren. Gabie was very involved in her church community, as a lifelong member of the choir, a Eucharistic Minister, and parts of several church committees. Gabie loved being surrounded by friends and family.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on WEDNESDAY, May 23rd from 4 until 8 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held on THURSDAY, May 24th at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Church, 777 W Hollis Street, Nashua, NH. Interment to follow in St. Louis Cemetery.
