Armand (John) Girard

Armand (John) Girard, 77, of Hollis NH died on April 23, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, son of the late Rosario (Sam) and Yvonne Girard (Comtois) and loving husband of 57 years Marguerite Girard (Denis). Armand was born in Lowell MA and lived there for many years before moving to Hudson NH and most recently Hollis NH. Prior to his retirement, Armand worked at Middlesex Community College in Bedford, MA and Prince Corrugated in Lowell, MA. He is survived by his wife Marguerite Girard, daughters Vivian Girard of Hollis NH & Ann Marie (Matthew) MacEachern of Hudson NH. Armand was predeceased by his children Diane Girard of Lowell MA and Kevin J. Girard of Dracut MA. He is survived by eight grandchildren, Jason and Erika Whitcomb, Vanessa Whitcomb, Dylan Girard, Nicole (Nicholas) Sullivan (Girard), Logan MacEachern, Ava MacEachern, Chloe Silva and Genevieve Silva. He is survived by three great grandchildren Kailey Whitcomb, Madison Whitcomb and Austin Whitcomb. In addition to spending time with his wife and family, Armand enjoyed years of camping in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, skiing, scuba diving, golfing and driving his sports car. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday May 19th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at the Timber Post Bed and Breakfast located at 162 Broad Street, Hollis NH.
