Thomas J. Labadini

May 15, 2018

WESTFORD- It is with great sorrow that the family of Thomas (Tommy) Jerome Labadini, 25, of Westford, MA, announces he passed away on May 11th, 2018 at his apartment in Quincy, MA.

He was the beloved son of Robert and Nora (MacLellan) Labadini of Westford, MA, brother of Robert, Jr., his wife Jennifer (Thomas) Labadini, and Christopher Labadini.

It is nearly impossible to describe how fun-loving, caring, and tough Tommy was.

He was the center of any room. He had an uncanny ability to bring people together that normally would not have a natural connection. His joyful spirit brought warmth to those he encountered as his energy was contagious.

He was a natural leader starring as an All-American Prep School lacrosse player at The Salisbury School in Salisbury, CT while ultimately achieving his goal of receiving a D1 Scholarship to play lacrosse at the reigning D1 National Champion Loyola University Baltimore, MD.

Most of all, Tommy had a heart of gold. Always looking on the bright side, supportive amidst struggle, and thoughtful to all.

When not starring on the lacrosse field, he could be found with family and friends vacationing in Harwich Port, MA. In 2015 as part of their annual family destination Christmas tradition, Tommy and his family experience Rome and the Vatican, where Tommy received a papal blessing.

In addition to parents and siblings, Tommy is survived by his paternal grandparents, Jerome and Frances Labadini of Tewksbury, MA, maternal grandparent Ann MacLellan of Tewksbury, MA, many loving aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins; as well as amazing friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather, John G MacLellan, Jr

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 18th from 2-7 pm at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME 24 Worthen St. CHELMSFORD. A Funeral Mass for Tommy will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 North Main Street, Westford.
