Rita (Rodier) Durand

DANIELSON, CT – Rita V. Durand, 95, formerly of Nashua, died March 14, at Davis Place Nursing Home in Danielson, Connecticut. Beloved wife of the late Donald J. Durand, they were married November 3, 1945.

Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, April 16, 1922, Rita was the daughter of Napoleon and Irene (Bernier) Rodier. Rita made her home for the last 13 years with her daughter Doris and her husband Victor Marquis.

She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Greatgrandmother.

She is survived by her daughter Doris and her husband Victor Marquis, her son Ronald and his wife Denise Durand; her three grandchildren Greg and his wife Christine Grigas, Stacey and her husband Eric George, and Sara and her husband Ed Kelsey; and 6 great grandchildren.

Calling hours have been omitted. A mass of the Christian burial will be held on SATURDAY, April 7th at 10 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 777 West Hollis St, Nashua.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Rita’s name to Davis Place Recreation Department, 111 Westcott Road, Danielson, Ct. 06239.
