Fernande “Fanny” (LaFrance) Theriault, 95, passed away peacefully on Monday March 26th at the Courville Nursing Home in Nashua, NH. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Andrea (Rioux) LaFrance. A devoted mother and grandmother she enjoyed crochet, crafts and decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Wilfred Moquin and her second husband Simeon “Sam” Theriault; sons Ronald Moquin (Diana Lones Moquin), David Moquin, and Dale Moquin; brothers Bertrand LaFrance, Conrad LaFrance, Ronald LaFrance, and Raymond LaFrance and sister Yola “Connie” Riviere.

She is survived by Georgette (Chasse) Moquin, wife of Dale Moquin. Her grandchildren Deborah Moquin, Heidi (Timothy) Pohlhaus, Michael (Maureen) Moquin, Dana Moquin and partner Laureen Campagnone, Shawn (Sara) Moquin, Denise (Patrick) Florio, Stephanie Moquin, and Heather Haley. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Her brother Roland LaFrance; sisters Annette Gagne, Lorraine Parker, Cecile Paradis, Si LaFrance, and sister-in-law Jane LaFrance (Raymond). She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 2nd from 3 PM to 7 PM at the Zis-Sweeney and St. Laurent Funeral Home 26 Kinsley Street, Nashua NH. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Fernande’s honor on Tuesday, April 3rd at 10 AM at the Saint Louis de Gonzague Parish 48 W. Hollis Street, Nashua, NH. Internment at Saint Louis Cemetery, 752 W. Hollis Street, Nashua immediately follows.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a luncheon in her honor at the White Birch Catering and Banquet Hall, 222 Central St, Hudson NH at 12:30 PM.

Memorial donations in Fernande’s honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org.or the charity of your choice.
