Jane H. Tafe

Jane H. Tafe, 95, of Nashua, NH died peacefully in her sleep on March 5, 2018.

Jane was born on May 31, 1922 in Nashua, NH daughter of Ulric and Rosa (Forest) Heon.

Jane was predeceased by her husband Charles H. Tafe and a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Ashley Moreau; as well as all of her brothers and sisters, Sister of Holy Cross Sister Adelie (Alice) and Rev. Paul J. Heon w.f., Maurice, Germaine, Lillian, Harriet, Theresa and Frances.

Jane attended Nashua Schools and was employed by J.F. McElwain Shoe for 34 years and Whitney Screw until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of Blessed John XXIII Parish (Infant Jesus Church)in Nashua.

She is survived by her two children, Patricia Moreau and husband Ronald of Nashua and her son William Tafe and wife Deborah of Dublin, NH; two grandchildren, Steven (Lisa) and Kevin (Pamela) Moreau of Hudson, NH; four great-grandchildren Amanda, Joshua, Matthew and Emily Moreau all of Hudson, NH as well as several nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. A special thank you to the Mary Sweeney Home for their generous spirit that makes this facility more than a place to live, it is a place where everyone is taken care of like family.

A Visitation period will be held from 9am to 10:45am on Monday March 12th in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St. Hudson, just prior to the Funeral Mass that will be held at Infant Jesus Church 121 Allds St. Nashua beginning at 11am. Burial will take place following Mass in St. Patrick Cemetery Hudson.
