Patricia Sandra (Leone) Vass

Patricia Sandra (Leone) Vass was born on 1/29/1941 and died at Concord Hospice on 12/3/16. Pat was the fourth child of six. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary (Stec) and Tony Leone of Medford MA, her sister Marion Lively of Marlborough, MA, and her son, who died at birth. She leaves behind her brother Peter Leone of Seabrook NH, her sister Delores (Lovey) Chisholm, of West Boylston Ma, sister Carolyn Tompkins of Framingham MA, brother Paul Leone of Stoneham MA and adopted brother Al Rocci of Arlington MA. Pat loved her family more than anything else. She was married for 54 years to her soul mate and high school sweetheart Larry and was such a loving mother and friend to her daughter Carolyn Thomson. She loved her son in law Doug and his family who treated her as one of theirs. "Gig" was an amazing grandmother to her 3 grandchildren and grandson-in-law, Courtney and husband Matt Turner, Derek and Dylan Thomson. We were so lucky that Gig was big part of her great granddaughter, Quinn’s life. Not only did she shower everyone in her family with love but she welcomed all of their friends into her home and her life. She was such a good sport who allowed her grandchildren and their friends to tease her and she would tease them right back. She was a great listener who cared so much for others making everyone feel special. Pat and Larry lived in Merrimack NH for most of their married life and moved to Seabrook where they loved to have people come up and enjoy the beach. In the winters they loved spending time in Naples Florida where they would meet up with many of their Medford High School friends and enjoyed getting together for dinner or a day at the beach. There are no words strong enough to express how much she will be missed. A service and a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday December 11th at 1 PM at the Blue Ocean Event Center in Salisbury, MA.
