Lorraine P. (Poulin) Rapsis

> Lorraine P. (Poulin) Rap­sis, 87, of Nashua, passed away peacefully on Mon­day, February 8, 2016, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack.

Lorraine was born in Nashua on November 4, 1928, a daughter of the late Walter and Muriel (Gam­ache) Poulin. She was the widow of Edward D. Rapsis.

Prior to retirement, Lor­raine owned and operated Knee-Hi Kindergarten from 1965-1982. She spent many years in Zephyr Hills, FL, with her husband, where she was a member of the Red Hat Society & Kitchen Band and volunteered with many different organizations. Lorraine enjoyed quilting, playing cards/cribbage and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Ladies Guild at Our Lady of Mercy Parish in Merrimack. Lorraine was predeceased by a son, Lieu­tenant Jim Rapsis, retired Nashua Fire.

Lorraine is survived by two daughters, Kathy Sulli­van and her husband Brian of Nashua, Jane Spurrell and her husband David of Merrimack; two sons, Ken Rapsis and his wife Debra of Nashua, Carl Rapsis and his wife Paula of Brookline; one daughter-in-law, JoAnn Rap­sis of Nashua; ten grandchil­dren, Kate, Jim and Annie Sullivan, Nicole, Kate and Victoria Rapsis, Alexis and Jennifer Ouellette, Doug­las and Andrew Rapsis; one sister, Pauline and Moe Bru­neau of Nashua; two sisters-in-law, Helene ‘Dolly’ Rapsis of Manchester, Marion Rap­sis of GA.

SERVICES: There are no visiting hours. A Memo­rial Service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 in Our Lady of Mercy Par­ish, 16 Baboosic Lake Road Merrimack, NH, at 9:30 AM. Burial will be held at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in the spring.
