Roland S. Desautels, Sr.
EASTBROOK – Roland S. Desautels, Sr. passed away October 9, 2015 at Seaport Village Healthcare in Ellsworth. He was born June 4, 1936 in Nashua, N.H., the son of Edmond and Isabelle Desautels Sr. Roland is survived by a son, Roland S. Desautels Jr. of Merrimack, N.H. and four daughters: Kim Ubanks, Sherry Buck, Cindy Monk from Florida and Tammy Drew of Candia, N.H. He has 3 brothers: Sylvio Desautels of Eastbrook, Robert Desautels and his wife Barbara of Bangor, Me. and Edmond S. Desautels (deceased). He has 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Roland served in the United States Air Force from Sept. 1953 to Dec. 1956. Services will be Saturday, October 17 at 11:30 A.M. in St. Joseph’s Church, 231 Main Street, Ellsworth, ME. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Roland’s name.
