Normand L. Rochette
Normand L. Rochette, 94, of Nashua, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital after a period of declining health.
Normand was born in Nashua, NH on April 20, 1921, a son of the late Omer and Mederise (Fortin) Rochette. He was the widower of Pearl L. (Raby) Rochette, whom he married on February 15, 1946. They celebrated 66 years of marriage until her passing on February 16, 2014.
Normand honorably served our country with the U.S. Air Force as a drafted 18 year old young man who survived World War II. He returned home 6 years later to begin in his life in Nashua again in 1945. Prior to retirement, Normand had been employed at Nashua Corporation for 40 years. He was a loving, happy, hardworking, family man. We were truly blessed to have him in our lives. Until we meet again we will miss you every day. Normand was predeceased by his sister, Valerie, and three brothers, Sylvio, Marcel and Raymond.
Richard is survived by one son, Thomas Rochette and his wife Diane of Nashua; one daughter, Louise Rochette of Nashua; two sisters-in-law, Germaine Rochette of Nashua, Lorraine Rochette of Nashua; as well as many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: There are no visiting hours. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 in St. Louis Cemetery, 752 West Hollis Street Nashua, NH 03060, at 11 AM.
