Pearl ‘Connie’ (Paradis-Belanger) Varney

Pearl ‘Connie’ (Paradis-Belanger) Varney, 76, of Hudson, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Pearl was born in Nashua on June 26, 1938, a daughter of the late Victor and Alice (Mailoux) Paradis. She was predeceased by her first husband Raymond Belanger. She remarried in December of 1989 to Richard Varney of Hudson. They had resided in Nashua until moving to Hudson in 1997.

Pearl enjoyed life as much as she was able to. She enjoyed camping, having done so for many years at Cascade Campground in Loudon, NH. She also enjoyed playing bingo with her sister at the many bingo halls throughout the area. She was predeceased by two brothers, Armand Paradis and Romeo Paradis.

Besides her husband, Pearl is survived by two brothers, Lionel Paradis of Nashua and Albert Paradis of California; one sister, Muriel Brophy of Lawrence, MA; also many nieces and nephews.

‘No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why.’

SERVICES: At Pearl’s request, which will be honored, there will be no public services. A Mass will be planned at a later date.
