Robert Joseph O’Brien Jr.
Robert J. O’Brien Jr., 55, of Nashua, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.
Bob was born in Revere, MA on July 1, 1959, a son of Jean Diana (Vigliotta) O’Brien of Lynn, MA and the late Robert J. O’Brien Sr.
Bob was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Lynn, MA and he had attended the University of Massachusetts in Boston. He had been employed as a route salesman with Drakes Bakery. Bob was a Boston sports fan, an avid golfer and a member of the Nabnasset Lake County Club in Westford, MA. He was a member of the Teamsters. Bob was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church.
Besides his mother, Bob is survived by three daughters, Jenna O’Brien, Courtney O’Brien and Kelly O’Brien, all of Nashua; two sisters, Linda Smith and her husband, Brad, of Peabody, MA., and Debra Barry and her husband, Jack, of Lynn, MA.; also four nieces; his dog and companion, Bentley.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday April 9, 2015 in Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Rd., Nashua, at 10:00 a.m. Everyone is invited to meet at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 9 Erie Dr., Natick, MA 01760.
