Normand G. Caron
Normand G. Caron, 76, of Nashua passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 after a period of declining health.
Normand was born in Nashua on October 10, 1938, a son of the late Joseph and Irene (Marquis) Caron. He was the loving husband of Sandra (Zibolis) Caron of Nashua, with whom he celebrated 49 years of marriage on February 22.
Normand was a lifelong resident of Nashua. He honorably served our country in the Army National Guard. Normand had been employed by the A & P Grocery as a manager for many years before starting his own business as a craftsman. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Normand had also been co-owner of the Winchester track and skeet club in Nashua. He enjoyed skeet shooting competitions. Later in life, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Besides his wife, Normand is survived by: two daughters, Jennifer Matsis and Jay Lapointe of Milford and Elizabeth Dargin and her husband James of Nashua; four grandchildren, Alexandra, Ashleigh, Paige and Meredith; one sister, Claudette Piscopo and her husband Ralph of Merrimack; one brother, Wilfrid Caron and his wife Sheila of Nashua; a brother-in-law, Dennis Zibolis and his wife Marie of Merrimack; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring St., Nashua, at 9:30 AM. Everyone is invited to meet at the church. Burial with military honors will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hudson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to a charity of one’s choice.
