Norman Jalbert

Norman Jalbert, 68, a lifelong resident of Nashua, died at Southern NH Medical Center on September 2, 2014, with members of his loving family at his side.

Mr. Jalbert was born on December 15, 1945, in Nashua, a son of the late Edward and Doris (Boudreau) Jalbert.

He was the husband of Linda (Porter) Jalbert, whom he married on October 5, 1968. They shared over 45 years of marriage.

Most recently, he was the owner and operator of NJ Trucking. Prior to that, he worked for Decelle and Sons in Nashua.

Mr. Jalbert is remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson.

He graduated from Nashua High School. After his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Jalbert was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 483 in Nashua.

Several family members, besides his parents, predeceased him including his brother, Eddie Jalbert Jr.; and his sister, Judy Jalbert.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his sons and a
daughter-in-law, Norman Jalbert Jr. of Nashua, Thomas and Amy Jalbert of Nashua and Michael Bergeron; two granddaughters, Serena and Faith Jalbert; his brother, John Jalbert of Nashua; his sisters, Jackie Jalbert, Patty Freeman and Janet Moon, all of Yuma, AZ, and Dorothy Pepin of SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  His Funeral Services and interment will be private and held at the convenience of his family.
