Wayne Craig Norton
1936-2014
Died, Wayne Craig Norton at the age of 77, on August 7th 2014 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester NH. Wayne was born in Springfield Ma on August 15th 1936 and moved with his parents Everett and Florence Norton to Shrewsbury Ma. He graduated high school at Mount Vernon Academy, and after graduating, he joined the Air Force and served from 1954 to 1958. After leaving the Air Force, he lived in Shrewsbury then Northborough before moving to Princeton Ma, where he lived for over 40 years.
After leaving the Air Force, Wayne and his father Everett started an industrial sales agency. Everett retired in the ’60s and then Wayne’s son Craig joined him in 1981. Over the next 30 years, he was involved in starting up a number of businesses: Construction, Real Estate Agency, Restaurant and Medical Device Company. Wayne spent only 2 years of his working career working for someone else before joining his son Craig again at Princeton Technology Corporation, an Electronic Contract Manufacturing Company located in Hudson NH.
Wayne spent his entire career as a salesman where he tirelessly worked on his customers’ behalf, many of whom became close friends. His integrity, honesty and professionalism made him an outstanding salesmen over his long career.
Wayne enjoyed fishing as a charter boat captain out of Cape Cod, and flying, having his own airplane for a period of time based out of Worcester airport.
Wayne leaves behind his spouse Rosangela, brother Bruce Norton and nephew Karl, son Craig and his wife Julie Norton, stepson Rick and wife DiAnne Proctor, and 4 grandchildren, Hannah and Rachel Norton and Alexsandra and Tyler Proctor.
