Therese V. (Thibault) Gagnon
Therese Violette (Thibault) Gagnon, 85, of Hudson and formerly of Nashua, widow of Lucien L. Gagnon, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday January 16, 2014 in the company of her loving family.
Mrs. Gagnon was born in Sherbrook, Que, Canada on October 15, 1928, a daughter of the late Cyrille and Lina (Levasseur) Thibault. Therese was raised in St. Ellie d’Orford Que and was educated in St. Ellie schools.
After moving to NH she worked at Hampshire Plastic, Palm Dress and prior to her retirement, Therese worked at BAE (Sanders Associate) for 26 years. Therese enjoyed crafts, knitting and sewing. She made an afghan for every child, grandchild and most great-grandchildren. She used to participate in local craft fairs. She will be remembered by her lop eared bunnies and their different outfits. She loved to travel, feeding the birds and gardening. She enjoyed spending the holidays with her family.
Therese and her husband, Lucien, were married in 1951 in Sherbrook and moved to Nashua in 1956. Mrs. Gagnon has been residing in Hudson with her daughter Constance for the past 5 years. Therese will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Therese was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Lucien, who died in 2010; four brothers, Ronald Thibault, Fernand Thibault, Alcide Thibault, Andre Thibault; one sister-in-law, Rita Thibault; four sisters, Lillian Ploofe, Marcelle Rancourt, Jeanne Bernard, Claire Dubreuil; three brothers-in-law, Joseph Ploofe, Gerald Rancourt, Laurier Bernard.
Therese is survived by three daughters, Johanne Gagne of Rochester, Constance Caminiti and her husband Russell of Hudson, Francine Leclerc and her husband Gerald of Hudson; one son, Richard Gagnon and his wife Karen of Gastonia NC; ten grandchildren, Andrew Gagne and his wife Stephanie, Danielle Cooley and her husband Patrick, Nathan Gagne and his wife Michelle, Kaitlin Dubois and her husband Eric, Michael Gagne, Jennifer Hug and her husband Brian, Eric Gagnon and his wife Sarah, Michelle Gagnon, Sarah Leclerc, Emilie Leclerc; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Therese Thibault, Rita Thibault; also several nieces, nephews and cousins

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday January 21, 2014 in the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley Street Nashua, from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday January 22, 2014 in the St. Louis de Gonzague Parish, 48 West Hollis Street, Nashua, at 10 AM. Following services, Mrs. Gagnon will be laid to rest next to her husband in St. Louis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Home Health and Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
