Cameron C. Ricard

Cameron C. Ricard, 17, of Hollis, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2013.

Cameron was born in Nashua on June 6, 1996, a son of Bob and Heather (Stanley) Ricard of Hollis NH.

Cameron was a senior at Hollis Brookline High School. He had been working as a landscaper with ProMow Landscaping. Cameron was full of life, and he had a passion for motocross. He had planned on joining the racing circuit next season. He loved hockey and was playing for the NE Junior Stars A and with the Hollis Cavaliers. Cameron also played lacrosse and Cal Ripken Baseball. Cameron was a southpaw catcher and pitcher who had played on a Cal Ripken All-Star team for five years, winning several tournaments. When he wasn’t playing baseball, Cameron would help out during the SVI Tournament in Hollis with field preparations and anything else that needed to be done. He loved his family and would spend time with them on Lake Kanasatka, wakeboarding, swimming and snorkeling. He also loved to go snowboarding. Cameron would often have his friends over to his house, where they would play “knee hockey” in his basement. He also loved to be outside on “Cam’s Rink” with his father and his dog Nikki, where he would shoot pucks for hours. Cameron was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Herve Ricard and Therese Ricard, as well as an uncle, Ralph Ricard.

Besides his parents, Cameron is survived by: one sister, Marissa Ricard of Hollis; his maternal grandparents, Neal Stanley and his wife Marion of Chelmsford, MA; three uncles, Neal Stanley and his companion Kathy McDermott, Raymond Ricard and his wife Denise and Ronald Ricard and his wife Diane; two aunts, Sue Basford and her husband Bruce and Lisa Ricard; his two dogs, Nikki and Benji; also several cousins many friends.

SERVICES: Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Alpine Grove, 19 South Depot Road, Hollis NH 03049, from 4-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at 6 PM with the Rev.
