Francis Patrick Pfeiffer

Francis P. Pfeiffer, 85 years old of Nashua, NH, died Wednesday morning, December 4, 2013 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua.

Born on January 5, 1928 in Bronxville, New York, he was the son of the late Charles P. and Neda (Wadelton) Pfeiffer. Named after “Father Francis P. Duffy of the Fighting Sixty-ninth,” Pat served in the United States Army as a medic during World War II and again with the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.

Following his military service, Pat graduated from Iona College, New Rochelle, NY in 1956 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Mr. Pfeiffer moved to Nashua in 1966 and worked for the former Sanders Associates for several years. He later opened a successful tax practice and fully retired in 2010.

Pat is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda M. Jansky; his four children, Sarah Pfeiffer McDonald and her husband Richard Joseph McDonald of Nashua, Laura Pfeiffer of Grand Junction, CO, Amy Pfeiffer Butier and her husband Michael Butier of Laguna Niguel, CA and Charles Pfeiffer of California; seven grandchildren, Dylan Pfeiffer and his wife Kelsey McCoy of Lowell, MA, Carolyn McDonald and Kendra McDonald both of Nashua, Courtney Goyen and Phillip Goyen both of Grand Junction, CO, Claire Butier and Sean Butier both of Laguna Niguel, CA; a sister, Mathilde Connal of Hilton Head, SC; and two brothers, Robert Pfeiffer of Stamford, CT and Henry Pfeiffer of North Carolina.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 216 East Dunstable Road, Nashua, Monday, December 9th at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends are invited to attend.
