Melissa ‘Missy’ A. (Dumaine) Dougherty

Melissa ‘Missy’ A. (Dumaine) Dougherty, 33, of Rindge, NH passed away on Sunday June 23, 2013 at the Cheshire Medical Center in Keene following a ten month battle with cancer.

Missy was born in Nashua on February 4, 1980, a daughter of William Dumaine and Jane Whippie. She was the wife of Shaun Dougherty of Rindge.

Missy loved the outdoors especially gardening, camping and hiking. She was an exceptional mother who loved spending time with her family.

Besides her husband, Missy is survived by one daughter, Savannah Dougherty of Rindge; two sons, Auston Dougherty and Jackson Dougherty, both of Rindge; her father, William Dumaine and his wife Cheryl of Rowley, MA; her mother, Jane Whippie and her husband John of Milford, NH; her paternal grandfather, Maurice Dumaine of Nashua; three brothers, Aaron Reagan and his wife Kimberly, Tony Dumaine and his wife Melissa and James Nichols all of Nashua; one sister, Lisa Barton of Derry, NH; her mother-in-law, Janet Grout and her husband David of Swanzey, NH; a brother-in-law, Jeff Dougherty of Swanzey, NH; also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Thursday June 27, 2013 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM in the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua.
